Dark Chocolate Rolled Oat Delicious Biscuits/Cookies

You can whip up this little number in no time.  Great for the whole family, morning or afternoon tea and for lunch boxes.

Rolled Oat Dark Chocolate Delicious Biscuits

250 grams of rolled oats

180 grams of soft butter

125 grams of self-raising flour

40 grams of coconut

100 grams of caster sugar

200 grams of dark chocolate preferably 70-80% cocoa

1 egg

Preheat oven 180 degrees celsius or 350 degrees fahrenheit.  Spray baking tray with cooking spray I use olive oil spray.  (You may want to use some butter and flour to grease the tray).  Mix up all ingredients in a bowl except the chocolate.  Chop up the chocolate into small chunks, then put in mixture and use your hands to mix everything together until relatively firm.  Then roll into balls allow about 5cm between each ball when you place them on the tray.  Bake for approx 20 minutes or until a light golden brown colour.  Once cooked place on a cooling rack.  When cool store in your biscuit/cookie tin.  Indulge.
