French Toast (Classic)
We’ve always enjoyed French Toast it is so easy to make and so tasty. I think to make it really special the bread has to be a day old and that lovely married high tin cut in thick slices.
140 grams of New Zealand Epicure cheese or other tasty cheese
85 grams flour
1 cup of milk
2 organic or free range eggs
Slices of day old bread (thickly sliced)
Mix together cheese, flour, milk, eggs and salt. Into this mixture dip the bread until saturated. Saute in the hot butter in a small to medium size frypan one at a time until a light brown colour.
