This is one of my love poems.  I wrote this when I was living in London, hence the reference to Stonehenge.  Only five days to go before Valentine’s Day.

Stonehenge in my Heart by Lynda Gray

close up of rose

I feel the shower around me

and the water surround me

just like when we met in Stonehenge where

you wrapped your arms around me.

The water drips through me

and I know that you’ve

gotten to me once again.

In this moment of moments

the world turns on its smile

and I feel alive.

The rocks and stones they

outgrow me

like the sounds of the snowstorm

your heart is my heart

your air is my air.

As I feel the shower

around me and the water

surround me

just like when we met in Stonehenge

where you wrapped

your arms around me.

The waters still dripping through me

‘Cause you’ve gotten to me’

Once again, once again.
