The day the world went underwater everybody screamed by Lynda Gray (Poem)

Valentine’s Day will be with us soon.  I will be posting lots of love poetry until then.

In the meantime I wrote a poem for fun about the climate situation.  The jury is still out for me on this.

The day the world went underwater everybody screamed by Lynda Gray

The day the world went underwater everybody screamed

Ship ahoy

Ship ahoy

Ship ahoy

But no ships came

They were not to blame

Nothing was to blame

The earth was a changing

And everyone was just, hanging about

They all began to shout

Ship ahoy

Ship ahoy

Ship ahoy

But no ships came

Noah didn’t build an ark

He was watching TV

Robinson didn’t build a raft

He was in Tel Aviv

Soon we all began to shout

Ship ahoy

Ship ahoy

Ship ahoy

But nobody came and no one was to blame
