Anzac Biscuits/Cookies – tasty and crunchy

Here is a quick recipe for those tasty Anzac Biscuits.  We made our first batch yesterday.  They spread out a lot so be aware of that when you are putting spoonfuls on your baking trays.  One dessertspoonful for average size biscuits/cookies and one tablespoon for larger biscuits/cookies.

2 cups of organic rolled oats

1 and 1/2 cups of organic desiccated coconut

2 cups plain flour

1 cup caster sugar

4 tablespoons of boiling water

3 teaspoons of bicarbonate soda

250 grams of organic butter (8 ounces)

2 tablespoons of golden syrup

Method:  Take out a large mixing bowl place the rolled oats, sugar, coconut inside and shift the flour into it.  Mix with a wooden spoon till all mixed in together.  Take out a saucepan, put on low heat around 2, place butter and golden syrup together and melt and mix together slowly.  Take out a cup place the bicarbonate…
