Have you ever wondered how organic farmers handle crop issues?

My new picture book is based on a true story about the organic farmers down the road. Since organic farmers don’t use pesticides to stop their crops being eaten, they have to find alternatives. One organic farmer found his solution to some unwelcome night-time visitors who were eating all his crops. His story was the beginning of a lightbulb moment for me, when the urge to create and write another children’s picture book began.

The story is complete and is now in the illustration stage. Here is my lovely illustrator Sarah May from Sarah May graphics hard at work making magic with my words.

It’s only the beginning – my new novel

It is that time again when you begin a new novel. It is one of the most exciting times; plotting the story and deciding on characters. My first novella, A Love to Remember has been my most popular and thousands of my readers have been asking me for a sequel. Instead of doing this I have some EXCITING NEWS – no sequel but instead a saga. Lucy Pembrooke’s life story spanning three generations of her family. Instead of a novella, a rather large novel.

These questions from one of my reviews and many more will be answered.

I really hope Lynda Gray does a book two because I still have so many questions. I want to know how Thomas reacted? I want to know if Loretta and Tobias stay married, and of course I want to know what happens with Lucy, Christian and how her girls react to the newness of everything! Great job Lynda”

Here is a little about the story.

Lorenzo Ezzilini was a player, an extremely wealthy merchant banker with one goal: unbridled ambition. Leaving Italy to escape his family destiny and moving to Paris to the highest ranks in banking, was all he cared about. His past haunted him. Believing love and women would stand in his way, he never allowed himself to get close to anyone. Until he met Claudette Bornhorst. Claudette was nurturing her broken heart. Would the chemistry they felt when they were near each other be enough to bring them together, or would it be a fleeting fantasy? #romance #readers #contemporary #womensfiction

If you would like to view the story on amazon press on this link:

Another one of my readers sent me this lovely photograph of her daughter reading one of my children’s picture books – The Scared Scarecrow.

She pretends to be a teacher and reads it to the ‘imaginary’ class. Just like my other reader’s daughter did with Wombat Dreaming. One of my other children’s picture books.

How blessed and honoured I am that I am bringing enjoyment into the lives of children.

Gorgeous – Fushi reading my novel – A Love to Remember.

One of my readers has sent me this exquisite photo of her dog with my novel. Gorgeous.

When the truth is told……………. Lucy Pembrooke is hoping to leave her cheating husband and her past behind. Leaving her plastic surgeon husband Thomas Pembrooke and returning to her stepmother’s home was not what she bargained for. But she hadn’t planned on meeting the drop dead gorgeous, Christian Black an internationally bestselling author, on her first day back at her childhood home. Christian has painful memories of his own past… A past he has blocked out for a long time. Could the attraction between Lucy and Christian be enough to change their future? #romance #love #readers
